Important Notes
- Limited financial resources are available to support participants to the 2nd Asia Pacific Coral Reef Symposium. Certain criteria and priorities have to be set in order to better serve the needs of the participants.
- The financial support is mainly for hostel accommodations and registrations of the potential applicants. We strongly encourage all applicants to try their best to obtain additional support from other sources.
- Financial support will only be considered for participants who are making presentation at the symposium. An abstract must therefore be submitted together with this application for financial support. An application will be evaluated based on the following criteria: participation in student competition, first authorship/presenter, quality and relevance of the contribution, country or region of residence, affiliation (i.e. university, NGOs, government agency etc.) and other criteria which may be set up. A first screening will be made after the deadline of applications (31 January, 2010) and successful applicant will be informed before 25 March, 2010.
